How to Figure Out What Kind of Content to Create (as a Financial Advisor)

Since I started my firm back in 2020, I’ve made just about every type of content out there.
Initially, I was on every platform and creating an unnecessary amount of things:
Podcasts
Threads
Carousels
2-minute videos
Instagram quotes
YouTube videos
TikToks
Infographics
Email campaigns
LinkedIn newsletters
Long-form Facebook posts
But nothing was working that well..
I didn’t know it was possible to do “too much”, but I was doing too much.
I was pushing myself out of my comfort zone, but I wasn’t directing my efforts in a coordinated manner.
It wasn’t until I stepped back and figured out what I was trying to do & what I enjoyed doing that I started to find success with content marketing:
